Yes, we can burn all your completed art files on a CD and mail it to you for a charge of $10. This covers our materials and shipping charge. We can provide a link to download your files if you choose not to have a CD mailed to you, but it is often a good idea to have a hard copy of your art files.
How do I send you drawings that I want to incorporate in the design?
If they are sketches that we need for ideas, you have several options: If you have a scanner, you can email us the scan of the drawing. You could also fax us the drawing at 732-326-0819. Worst-case scenario - snail mail. If we need to include the drawings in the actual design, we will need a high-resolution (at least 300dpi) version on disc or sent over email (please contact us before sending large attachments over email).
I have a logo I need to send you, what format do you need it in?
For print projects, we prefer an Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop file in at least 300 dpi. If that's not an option, send a .jpg or .tiff file at 300 dpi. If the logo is for a web design job, the high resolution isn't necessary and we can deal with most type of files.
Do you design in a specific style?
No, we purposely do not design to a specific style because of the variety of clients in different genres that we work with. Different clients have different requirements for effective design. In order to create effective design consistently, we tailor each project to the specific client ensuring that we hit their target market correctly.
What does 4/0, 4/1 and 4/4 mean?
Full color printing is done in 4 color (magenta, black, cyan and yellow compose every color to make a document full color). 4/0 means full color on one side, no printing on the back. 4/1 mean full color on one side, one color on the back (usually black). 4/4 means full color on both sides.
What is DPI? What is resolution?
DPI (dots per inch) refers to the quality of a digital image. If you look at the pictures in a newspaper with a magnifying glass, you will notice that the pictures are created with small dots. The more color in a certain area, the bigger and closer the dots are. If you look at the pictures in a glossy magazine under a magnifying glass, you'll find that the dots are much smaller than a newspaper. This is because a magazine has more dots per inch than a newspaper. The greater the dpi, the higher the quality of an image. Resolution refers to the number of dpi in an image. The higher the dpi, the greater the resolution. We recommend at least 300 dpi for all printed jobs, while web jobs may pass with only 72 dpi.
What is a short-run, what is a long-run?

What is digital, offset and screen printing?
Digital printing is plateless ink printing directly on paper. This process is similar to the printing process of your home printer. While digital printing is cheaper than offset printing, it is much slower and at a lower quality. Offset printing or offset lithography is a printing process where your design is etched into a thin metal plate. This plate is then mounted on an offset press. Ink will be rolled onto the plate and transferred to the paper. Offset printing is the leading printing process for high-quality projects. Screen printing includes creating a screen with very small holes from your design that will be placed on top of the material you want to print on. Ink will be squeegee through the screen onto the material. Screen printing is great for printing on materials that wouldn't fit on a flatbed press, such as CD/DVD and T-shirt printing.
