Cosmetic Injections today number
more than 5 million procedures* each year!

From magazines to cosmetic counters everyone is talking about cosmetic injections. Even creams are being hyped to mimic the results of injections.

COSMETIC INJECTIONS
Cosmetic injections are medical treatments that are either placed below, into or just above the facial muscles, or into the fatty layer of the skin, somewhere no topical cream can penetrate. A topical treatment is just that: it treats only the very top of your skin.

WRINKLE REDUCTION
Reduction or prevention of expression lines with injection of a botulinum (i.e., Botox® Cosmetic) into the muscles that cause these lines is the most popular injectable procedure. This is one of the most researched and widely used medical and cosmetic injections today.

Treatment of frown lines is the only technical indication for which Botox® Cosmetic is FDA approved. Common botulinum (Botox® Cosmetic ) injections include treating brow furrows, crow’s feet, neck bands bleed lines and even raising a brow (or two). VOLUME AND SHAPING
Lip Augmentation is the hotter than ever, but dermal fillers offer more thank simply plumping lips. There are presently 10 FDA approved dermal fillers. Click here to learn about the common injected sites.

OFF LABEL
Off label is a common term for many medical drugs and devices including cosmetic injectables. But not many consumers know what it really means: the legal practice of prescribing drugs or medical treatment for a purpose specifically not defined by the drug's U.S. FDA approved label.
